Save the date for our final plenary: Community-Engaged Research: Your Community Has the Answers
At Beloved, we’ve always been committed to social change and in particular to inquiries around how communities sustain change. When the charismatic leader leaves, the funding stream ends, and the legislation changes will we keep doing the work? We haven’t figured it all out yet and, in fact, we have more questions than when we started. We do know that, whether you’re in education, workforce or clean energy, there are some building blocks that matter.
Throughout Sustaining Change - a limited webinar series - we’ve been exploring those building blocks with some of our beloved partners.
✨We believe that people change systems - so we have to invest in the people.
✨We believe that the future of work requires changing the systems, not just the workers.
✨We know that our intersectional identities impact the ways that systems see us, don’t see and treat us.
✨We know that our communities have the answers.
For our final conversation it all comes down to this — who gets to create our trusted sources of knowledge. We’re excited to welcome brilliant scholars who are exploring the relationships between traditional academic research and community-engaged research to impact societal transformation.
We hope that you’ll join us for this powerful closing to Sustaining Change.
